As a Scrum Master, you’ll

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

  • Coach teams on Agile principles, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize the product backlog and align goals.

  • Identify and resolve roadblocks, ensuring smooth project execution.

  • Analyse and refine project processes, introducing improvements that drive efficiency and innovation.

Voxdale's team consists of 40 employees and is distributed across various offices. While the company originated in Belgium, the majority of our team operates from our headquarters in Wijnegem (Antwerp). Additionally, we have workstations and offices in Antwerp City, Ghent and Liège. On the international front, we are expanding our presence in Germany, specifically in Berlin, with offices in Motion.Lab, and in The Netherlands, we have an office at High Tech Campus Eindhoven.

Roles & Responsibilities

Facilitate Project Management and Communication

  • Create and onboard project teams.

  • Monitor project progress, provide timely feedback, and promote agility and continuous learning.

  • Serve as a communication bridge between external stakeholders and the team.

Ensure Project Progress and Alignment

  • Host regular meetings (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews) to track progress, address roadblocks, and keep the project on schedule.

  • Ensure deadlines are met with desired outcomes.

Coach and Mentor in Agile Practices

  • Train and coach team members and the product owner on Scrum principles and Agile methodologies.

  • Promote self-organization and focus within the team while identifying areas for performance improvement.

Support Backlog Management

  • Assist the Product Owner in refining and prioritizing the product backlog.

  • Use insights from meetings to guide backlog adjustments and scheduling.

Remove Roadblocks

  • Identify and resolve distractions or impediments to ensure the team’s progress and focus during iterations.

Essential experience

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master.

  • A strong understanding of Agile frameworks and a proven ability to optimize workflows.

  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills to unite cross-functional teams.

  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for learning and improvement.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite, including spreadsheets, document management, and communication applications.

Valued, but not essential experience:

  • Experience with hardware product development

  • Certification (CSM, PSM)

  • Hands-on experience with Atlassian solutions for task tracking and knowledge sharing.
