As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you take a leading role in ensuring that the hardware we build together will out perform expectations. You relish at the prospect of tackling novel and challenging concepts, which defy what is mainstream. With a “Value Driven” mindset you are razor focused on how to build understanding and innovation from first principles through to testing and validation. Your expertise will ensure the optimal selection of technology, materials, and production methods to deliver exceptional products. The team looks to you for insights, guidance and mentoring in their projects in order to grow and learn.
About you
You have a master degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with 8 – 15 years of experience
"Value Driven Design" Mindset:. You maintain value from the very beginning of the design until the very end. This is a core to your way of working.
Mechanical Design Expertise: you bring a strong background in developing complex systems to the team. You have a good understanding of different production methods, materials, tolerances and related technical 2D drawings. Think: Kinematics (gearing, actuation, mechanisms), structural loading (design and analysis)
CAD Proficiency: You’re able to use CAD tools (Solidworks & Creo) to develop concepts from prototyping all the way up to validation quality.
Structural Mechanics : you have a solid understanding of how structural mechanics, manufacturing and assembly are interlinked.
Calculations & FEA: Working from first principles you know how to pinpoint what is critical and how to set up a simulation model to analyze it.
Problem-Solving and Creativity: are you a creative problem-solver who can handle a wide variety of projects, from medtech to performance sports? You love to challenge the impossible by innovating through collaboration.
