Product Designer

The Role

You design products from brief to production-ready concept, grounded in clear value, shaped by real constraints. You translate the brief into designs that are meaningful, manufacturable, and worth building. You know your craft. You stay with the work until it ships.

What You'll Do

• Explore concepts — Generate and evaluate concepts that balance user value, technology, feasibility, and production method. Design for what can actually be made.

• Develop and validate — Carry concepts through to detailed design. Prototype regularly to validate ideas early, when changes are cheap.

• Build a convincing case — Present your thinking clearly to teammates across disciplines. Design is a dialogue, not a delivery.

• Contribute to your Tribe — Share knowledge, explore new methods, and bring what you learn back to the team. What you discover, everyone can use.

• You're not handed a brief and left alone. You help shape the brief, then own the design response.

• Your work touches the full arc: from early concept through prototyping to manufacturing handover.

What You Bring

Required:

• Familiarity with prototyping (physical and/or digital)

• Ability to design for manufacturability from day one (materials, production methods, constraints)

• The drive to see a product through to market, not just to a finished drawing or prototype

• Pragmatic and realistic, you know when good enough is right and when it isn't

Nice to have:

• Experience with workshop facilitation or design research

• Circular design thinking

Mindset:

• Holistic thinker who doesn't lose sight of the user while solving an engineering constraint

• Comfortable with ambiguity at the start of a project and disciplined enough to converge

• Eager to share knowledge and learn from others

• You'll be part of a close-knit team that stays in sync on what's happening and where things are headed.
